Ellie Hulsebosch: Professional Athlete

Dedicated to Excellence
Hi!
I’m Ellie Hulsebosch, a young professional downhill rider from a small part of the world, New Zealand, adrenaline chaser, and someone who’s happiest on two wheels. MTB has been a big part of my life since I was little, I used to live by ‘to be the fastest girl, first be the slowest boy’ - A lot has changed since those days. From the first race in between the tape, racing downhill quickly became the place where I felt most at home.

I’m proud of how far I’ve come and the challenges, demanding hours and injuries I’ve overcome to get here. Downhill racing can be unpredictable and brutal, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. Every time I put on my helmet and roll up to the start gate, I’m reminded of why I love it. I love the speed, precision, and focus it demands. Every second counts and every decision on the track can make the difference between winning and crashing. It’s a sport that constantly challenges me to be stronger, braver, and more disciplined, and that’s what drives me every day.
This is only the start of my career so tag along for the ride!
