Future Goals
Behind the Athlete
My goal, since being little, is to become one of the top female riders in the world like wining World Cup overall title and being consistent in the top 5. But also a big goal is to represent New Zealand by winning World Championships in Elite Women while wearing the silver fern. I want to show that hard work, resilience, and belief in yourself, can carry you very far making you competitive against the best, no matter what challenges or adversity. Being part of the Santa Cruz Syndicate team has given me incredible opportunities this year. Every race week, training camp, and downhill run pushes me to always improve through learning & reflection, good or bad, and embrace the pressure as a privilege to be in that situation.

To reach my goals, I put everything into my training, from long hours on the bike and in the gym to studying my race runs and reviewing my race weeks, recovery, and nutrition. I’ve learned that success in downhill isn’t just about being off the breaks, but it’s about the process, patience, and consistency. I always try to bring a positive attitude to everything I do, supporting my teammates and competitors, respecting the sport and the community that make it possible.
